The Fairest of Them All?

For as long as I can remember I have been obsessed with white teeth. Before over-the-counter whitening strips existed – I was using baking soda with my toothpaste, whitening gum, you name it – I probably tried it. When Crest White Strips were launched you better believe I was among the first to try them! Remember the ones that you had to use for 30 minutes a day, over two weeks? The ones that barely stuck to your teeth and had you swallowing more of the active bleaching ingredients than what would stay on your teeth. Yeah those… Luckily over the past few years [decade maybe?] whitening strips have made some serious progress. Now you can have “visibly whiter teeth in just two hours” – but does it really work? I’ll let you be the judge.

What I can confidently tell you about Crest 3D White Whitestrips is that they will stick to your teeth – to the point where it is actually a bit of a challenge to get them off after the 2 hours have passed. For me this is a plus, I need to be able to function [aka talk] while whitening, especially if I have to wear them for such a long time. I am pleased to say that I don’t experience much tooth sensitivity [am I a dentist – that is some serious lingo] from these whitestrips. In the past my teeth would hurt so badly after a week of 30 minute bleaching sessions – sometimes I couldn’t even finish the full two week set. With that being said, there is still a bit of sensitivity, but it goes away in a few hours.

Here it is, before and after – what do you think, is it worth it? My conclusion – I will definitely buy these again, just make sure you don’t use them more than recommended.

I tried to use the same angle, lighting, and distance for the before and after shots but you can only do so much with an iPhone [notice the glare in the second picture on my head – oh well].

Hello? Is it me you’re looking for?

ImageJust kidding! In all honesty though, I’ve caught the travel bug. I am already dreaming of new adventures – and working my butt off to fund them. But until then, I’m back… miss me? I sure hope so!

Getting back into the swing of things [real life] has been slow, but I am busy with a few new and exciting endeavors – I’ll probably share those with you over the next few weeks.

In the meantime, here is what I’ve been up to – courtesy of Instagram!
