A few months ago I shared a tutorial for water marble nails, without the use of water. I love the look of this manicure and it is so simple to complete. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a shot the next time you paint your nails. For a step by step tutorial, check out my previous post here.
To achieve this look, you will need: a base coat, a base colour, at last three water marbling colours, a top coat, and a plastic lunch bag (or piece of Saran wrap).
Last time I used a more sublet palate of colours, but now that it is summer I chose a white base that would really allow the water marbling to pop. The base colour is essie Marshmallow. On top, to create the tie dye look, I used OPI Casino Royale, OPI Need Sunglasses and Urban Outfitters Westside. I love the way this manicure turned out. I didn’t know what to expect with a bolder water marble patter, but I definitely like it – probably more than my first subtle version.
